Surgical Services
Our mission is to provide you with quality, general surgery services in your home town. While the idea of undergoing surgery is never easy, today's advanced technology makes many surgeries less invasive and recovery times shorter. At Mountain View Hospital we provide the best surgical care for our patients by maintaining state-of-the-art equipment and highly skilled surgical teams. Mountain View Hospital offers the services of 6 general surgeons. Our Family Practitioners offer highly skilled assistance as well as perform C-Sections. Our nursing and technical support staff are specially trained and certified in advanced life saving procedures and practices.
The Surgical Team
Mountain View Hospital has expanded its general surgery department to include 6 general surgeons who provide complete surgical coverage for Mountain View Hospital. Two Orthopedic Surgeons and a Podiatrist also perform procedures at Mountain View as well as see patients at the Mountain View Professional Center.
This team of surgeons offer a variety of surgical services at Mountain View Hospital. These include (but are not limited to) trauma, hernia repair, appendectomy, gallbladder surgery, colorectal screenings, endoscopy services, as well as several other procedures for various conditions or diseases.

Preparing For Surgery
Procedures are planned in advance, working in tandem with your medical care provider and your surgeon. Members of the Mountain View Hospital Surgery Team (including an anesthetist) will meet with you and explain how to prepare for your procedure. During this meeting you will learn what you can expect before, during and afterwards.
