Information
While he thrives on the challenge of his work, Leo Savage faces a bigger challenge away from the hospital: not having enough time to do all the things he'd like to do. Leo enjoys expressing his creative side by playing the guitar and banjo, creating DVDs and editing video projects on the computer. But spending time with his family, friends and church community is his top priority.
Leo has been married to his wife, Susan, for more than 30 years. Together they have two children, and enjoy golfing, fishing, camping and outdoor sports. As an adoptive father, Leo has a deep personal respect and appreciation for cultural differences, and delights in seeing his son take pride in his South Korean heritage.
"I think it comes down to respect. I've come to appreciate the unique cultural differences each person has. I try to listen well to patients' concerns, without too many interruptions, and do my best to bring my skills to bear on problems they may have." - Leo Savage, MD
